North East retailers receive national recognition at The English Independent Retail Awards 2019

Hundreds of independent retails from the region got together to celebrate their achievements.

The black-tie ceremony took place on Thursday July 11, at The Grand Hotel Gosforth Park.

The winners have now been showcased and are a true reflection of the professionalism and the high standard of services the independent retailers offer in the North East of England.

The inaugural English Independent Retail Awards 2019 in partnership with United Grocers Ltd recognised top retailers that have shown incredible commitment to product and customer service, with fantastic teams, staff and managers contributing to their success and popularity.

The event was hosted by BBC Newcastle broadcaster, Lisa Shaw. She welcomed on stage the champions of the sector whose ability and commitment to serving the English communities have crowed them winners.
