The winners of The inaugural Welsh Takeaway Awards 2019 are revealed

Takeaways have been around for so long and are an integral part of our high streets and our culture. There is no doubt that it is a fast-growing sector  and will continue to shake up Wale’s economy as more and more food entrepreneurs chose to provide food on the go and delivery services.

The inaugural Welsh Takeaway Awards 2019 provided a great opportunity to showcase those who performed well over the past years and are considered the best choice by the public.

The awards also celebrated top establishments that strive to be different. They commended those who deliver great food to their customers in a timely manner, making it easier to enjoy their delicious meal all the while in the comfort of their homes.

Several of the awards were split into local regions to ensure the diverse range of businesses from across Wales are recognised for providing  unique dishes, creating a true gastronomic experience.

Irfan Younis, CEO of Creative Oceanic said: “Although in the first year, we are honoured by the fantastic response we have had from the public who was so keen to vote for their favourite takeaways.

“This industry has grown massively over the past years and we aimed to seek out, reward and thank those who have managed to make a real difference by serving fantastic food, using the best of ingredients.

“The winners are an outstanding example of excellence whose dedication to be the best has made them stand out among the rest.

“We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their amazing achievements.”
