The winners of The 1st Vegetarian and Vegan Awards 2020 are announced

The V2 Awards 2020 celebrate the hard work of those who provide the nation with delicious vegan and vegetarian food.

The awards recognised the achievements of local suppliers, wholesalers, chefs and establishments amongst others who always serve the community with the freshest of vegan friendly products and work tirelessly within their establishments to deliver great experiences to their diners. The winners are a true reflection of the quality and excellence that remark the UK’s plant-based food industry.

Some categories are split into local regions to ensure the diverse range of businesses from across the UK are recognised for their exceptional work.

A Spokesperson for The V2 Awards 2020  said: “More and more people across Britain spend money on vegan friendly products or follow a vegan lifestyle to improve their health as well as for animal welfare and environmental reasons.

“The purpose of The V2 Awards is to acknowledge the professionals that care for their diners at a national scale. The awards celebrate everything related to veganism and vegetarianism and provide a platform to thank those who have dedicated their whole career in providing us with the vegan edition of much-loved dishes across multiple cuisines, using the best of ingredients.

“We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their amazing achievements.”
